The Guild - or, more catching up with everyone else

So, having finally got round to running the Dragonlance campaign 20 years after it was released I'm looking to see what else I've been missing.

Yeah, I tried The Guild last year when I heard Wil Wheaton was going to be in it as a regular character, and I just couldn't get into it at all.

It never would have occurred to me to recommend it to other people.

So big surprise you two didn't like something I liked.
Not seen the Wil Weaton bits, so that must be in season 3.

I don't like it just because its funny, it doesn't always make me laugh.
(I hadn't actually thought of it specifically as a comedy)
I love the characters, writing and the way it fits so well into the medium they use.

BTW - finally started on the West Wing (thanks for the DVDs).
Quite good so far, but not as good as Studio 60.
But that is only after the first episode so I'm not really calling that an opinion yet :-)
