Oh, David. We know he cares about you, but boy, is he clueless sometimes.

Is he going to fly out to Boston for formal? (And if not, would you still go?)

Clueless indeed. But if I had an actual attentive boyfriend who remembered things like that, I really wouldn't know what to do with him anyway.

There's no way he'll be coming for formal--I didn't even ask. You remember how much dragging I had to do to get him to go last year, and that's without airfare. He's still trying to figure out if he can even come for graduation. I might go to formal anyway, but I don't know yet. Seems kind of pointless without a date, although Al said he'll go with me if I want as long as he gets to wear a dress. That would be fun.

I'd go with you! I'm still trying to figure out what to do about formal. No boyfriend, obviously, but I really want to go anyway (because I like getting dressed up and hanging out with friends).

(My main requirements for a date: will dance with me and be fun to hang out with. Obviously you fit both...)
