Where did this day go

I swear it was over in a heart beat. We went to the farmer's store for nibbles for me to take home. There is some neat stuff and then there is some crazy priced stuff, 9$ sauce, 12$ pickles. yeah sure in the city with the upper crust I can see it but this is the middle of the country where people don't command high salaries. Who is buying this

Good lord yes, I wanted to buy a muffin or single bread roll or something like that to snack on at the Farmer's Market and the price was $5! For one! It wasn't even that good. I mean, it was good, but not $5 good. I can justify spending that much on a vegan snack because I know how much work goes into making milk/egg alternate foods, but not for a regular thing.

I hear you. I've done that too. They had these adorable hot cocoa bombs, looks like bath bombs but hot chocolate...five dollars a shot. Sigh. Maybe as a gift but no.

Oh those things! Hot cocoa bombs are the new expensive "artisanal" food that's actually insanely easy and cheap to make at home. Some people do put a lot of work into how they look, though.
