[Rei picks up the PCD and moves outside, to the back of Jean's safe house, and sets the PCD on the ground. She spreads her wings -- an impressive wingspan -- and flaps once or twice, with great concentration, and manages to rise four or five feet in the air. She does a quick circle and lands on her feet, grinning in exhilaration.]

That's lovely! With a bit 'a practice, you can be jus' like a bird, so long as you stay away from crashing into windows. Does it take a lot of energy?
