So I hosted a craw fish boil on Friday night. Went pretty well. I spent $100 on a 32 quart aluminium pot with a basket and lid. Gio and I made a stand for it out of rebar the road crew left in front of our hose when they re-paved a section of the street. Ben dug out a pit in the backyard. So I've had a cold for the past 4 days or so, and today it got worse. Body and head aches. I had to leave school early. I don't know if I'll be able to make it tomorrow, which sucks. My current attendance rate is 99.44%, and I'd like to keep it above 99% if possible. Today will bring me down some, but if I miss all day tomorrow... oh well ( Read more... )

My car has developed a random misfire. It started a few weeks ago. It seems to only happen from 3k RPM to around 4k RPM. At first I thought it was an ignition problem. I couldn't see how, as the plugs and wires only have 5000 miles on them. I checked all the plugs out anyway, and they all looked normal. So after this I thought it could be a fuel ( Read more... )

In school yesterday we pulled my car into the shop so we could fix some alignment angles. We aligned it last week when we put my new tie rods and rear upper control arms on, but caster was out of spec and we ran out of time. So here we are, my car up and being adjusted. I pulled the A/C system out of my 240 today. All the under hood stuff, the evaporator core is still in the dash, I might remove it tomorrow. I'd say I saved another 30-40 pounds. My laptop finally fucked up enough to concern me. When I bought the laptop the guy I bought it from said the screen had fucked up on him before. According to him he had IBM replace the display connector for him. It may have been under warranty when this happened.
