Yeah, I noticed that and mentioned it to the person I was watching the show with--we agreed it was on purpose. I tend to think Carter's going to be a tougher nut to crack (despite the wacky things she got up to with Jack and the gang) because she's so sensible and down-to-earth at heart. I'm hoping to see John indulge in some double-teaming on her with Rodney to get his way.
You are correct, as time wore on, Elizabeth okayed a lot of very stupid plans! But I suspect it was less that John wore her down, and more that she went to the crazy place with him after all the things that happened to her and to Atlantis--it was Pegasus that wore her down. Because she didn't just green-light John's reckless plans, she green-lit a clutch of Carson's BAT-SHIT CRAZY plans.
