Ugh, I loved this SO SO MUCH. Devoured it today, and it's just pitch-perfect - from the romance to the clever way you worked in Merlin's role as Arthur's advisor to the way the characters are enough like themselves to be recognizable and yet different enough to be interesting. Reccing now. :)

I really adored this! Arthur as the Prince of Wales is one of my favorite AU settings. You had just the right amount of angst, too--some, but it was never overwhelming. And I loved Gwaine and Will. LOL! They were just perfect. And I loved how Arthur was still a champion and fighting for something. I had the biggest grin on my face through the whole coronation scene at the end.

Oh wow! I loved your fic! I loved Arthur coming out and how much he and Merlin cared for each other, and that kiss in front of the world! And when Arthur was at the place his father died and he wanted Merlin there.. that bit hurt but it was brilliant, too.
