This is awesome! I haven't seen the movie, but really enjoyed your handling of the story.

I liked Arthur's princely qualities and how he becomes such a good leader. Morgana and Uther's deaths were so sad, but well done.

Great story - I'll be coming back to read again :)

Thank you so much! It was fun watching Arthur grow into his potential a bit. I was very sad to kill off Morgana and Uther (though honestly, it was kind of fun, too *g*)

YES, I LOVED THE HELICOPTER GIRAFFES SO MUCH! I could not leave them out. *g*

I'm glad it fit the characters - always a challenge with reel fics! And I'm glad I'm not the only one who kind of loved that stupid movie. :-D Thanks for the comments!

THIS. This is amazing! I've yet to watch the movie and am only vaguely aware of the premise so I didn't really know what to expect, but this was such a wonderful read! I felt so invested in the story and every single one of the characters, be they significant or minor ones, and there were many occasions where I cried, er... went teary-eyed. ;) I love the sense of hope that remains even at the end (beginning?) of it all and - just fantastic all over! ♥ ♥ ♥

Oh, yay!! I'm thrilled that you were invested in the story, even without knowing much about the movie, and I'm very fond of all these characters now, so I'm thrilled that you were invested in all of them, too.

And I admit, they might have made me go, um, teary-eyed, too. Once or twice. Maybe. *g*

*blushes* What lovely feedback! I'm so glad you liked the flashbacks -- I was a little concerned that they would disrupt the flow, but I can't resist a first time. It was very sad killing Morgana and Uther, but I was proud of them, too, in a weird way. Thanks so much! :-D
