That first "date" and the torrid night together were vividly drawn and showed the fast, deep connection between these two men. Wow. Just...wow! I loved reading about Merlin and Arthur's first night together...even if it did make the separation that much more difficult. But at least Arthur got to add Merlin's name to the list. It would have been utterly gut-wrenching if Arthur was faced with having to leave him behind to die.....although I have a feeling it's not going to be quite so simple, is it? Anyway, brilliant chapter and fantastic story so far! I'm really enjoying it! :D
Yeah, I'm not sure Arthur would be too cool with leaving Merlin behind to die. But you're right that nothing with Arthur and Merlin ever seems to be simple!
