a scannything? i just used that word. not here, of course. but i used it. it was innapropriate because i was discussing a potentially life or death situation. here's an anecdote: in class we were discussing The Day The Earth Stood Still, and this guy raised an oft-dogeared book and said "i was consulting my almanac and 250,000,000 miles away would place him between Mars and Jupiter, so I would venture to say he is from Ceres, the largest asteroid in our Solar System." Our teacher replied, "that's nice." There's a picture of a Mouse on Top of a Frog. at first i thought it was dirty, then i put the tagline "Let us have another adventure, my friend," and it became magical.
Did i use the word "oft" correctly? Hmn.
well hey. here's the idea: everything will be alright! maybe it is already! then, it will stay that way!
Yes, the 1-year leases here bother and comfort me. I don't have to worry about housing for (some part of) a year (until planning the following year) but it also ties me down.
