That bit got me too. And so many other parts. I've lost family to cancer as well, none as young as Hazel or Augustus or your cousin, but all the same... I lost uncles on both sides of my family to cancer and this book made me think of things from the point of view of my grandparents, having to bury a son. So that was rough.
I agree with you completely. It's his best work and it was so moving and funny and I can't wait to read it again. It breaks my heart a little even thinking about the book, but I really and truly loved it.
Oh man, this book broke me so much and I don't have a personal link to the story. I can't even imagine what it must be like to read it with one. Agh, it's so perfect.
