Wait...so users that haven't logged in in six months are deleted? Including permanent accounts? And what does that even breach...not logging in?

I'm not sure but that's how I read it. I wanted to copy a BtVS link from my memories and saw the maintenance. After LJ was up again and I opened it, I've got the window to have to agree to the new TOS or else.. I haven't saved that text but the TOS are posted at said link.
And that's the translation, not legally binding but I can't read Russian. http://www.livejournal.com/legal/tos-ru.bml. Neither can't Google translate to Germany. But it can if I copy the text:
Termination of the Account

The Administration reserves the right to delete the Account and the Blog if access to the Blog is not carried out by the User for more than 6 months in a row or was limited during the same period in connection with the violation of the Agreement.

it says reserves the right so = doesn't it mean they can (if they want to do it ( ... )

The paid services thing is really confusing to me. I'm paid, so none of the TOS applies? *scratches head*

I don't know either. My comment is still screened, some others are open. They only say that LJ, Inc. is still in based in CA, US.
Huh... maybe they only meant you have to pay to LJ, Inc. - I have no clue. But I still hope for an answer.

And status says they are doing a planned Maintenance. Hope I can post this.
