I followed a link to your journal from an awards site, and noticed that you and I have the same birthday. Came to wish you a happy one! :) Yay for missing that leap year!
I was lucky; the year before was a leap year :-D I can't see you birthday or birth-year so I don't know if you were lucky too like me not to have a leap year. Happy birthday to you!
Wierd that that was set not to show up. All fixed now. Born this day in '85 -- I, too, missed a leap year. It's always the first thing people say -- "Oh, almost a leap year baby!", and it's funny to watch the different reactions when I rain on their parade.
*nods* with me too, first thing people say. ;-) I think it's LJ fault (the invisible birthday dates). They changed an option and after that a lot of people didn't have the birthday visible.
sorry for poking in here, but its the marvelous edgehead's bday on the 22nd of this month, and to celebrate it ive created a "birthday community" for people to post any pressies for her. It'll be kept a total secret till the day, and will hopefully blow her away! :D
And if you'd like to post something there thats great, but NO PRESSURE. Seriously, if youd prefer to give her a bday pressie yourself thats totally cool, it doesnt really matter as long as she gets em hehehe i just think she deserves a comm dedicated entirely to her. :)
You totally right about that (a comm for her), she deserves this and I'm sure she'll be blown away. My problem is that I don't have something to post (had the same problem before); I can't make icons, nor write a story and I come blank thinking what I can do instead. If I can think of something in time I'll remember her comm. And don't worry to post here, this is what this entry is for.
