Anybody who has an LJ and tries to claim that they're not seeking attention is full of it.

That being said, I try not to seek attention but like a moth to the flame.... You know how well that one ends.

Not really. I see LJ as a useful way to say 'general' things to friends, or at least the high-%-of-a-considerable-subset-of my friends who use LJ themselves.

I really wouldn't *want* to post something that somehow drew thousands to my LJ.

Actually, I came to LiveJournal just within the week because I wanted to see someone's post. The only way to do so was to register. So now I have a LiveJournal account. It will probably be as ignored as my MySpace account.

I am in favor of attention, but I didn't join LiveJournal for that reason.
