I totally agree with you! Some people can be really prissy about only liking SERIOUS films that you can nod solemnly at, in the same way that people dismiss all pop music. I can't think why people like to strip the silliness out of their lives in such a way! x

YES! It really gets on my nerves when people are snobby about pop music! I am the least snobby person ever about music. I may be an example of the reason people are snobby about music considering how totally nonjudgmental I am about any type of music..

We need silliness to survive!
Life is ridiculous. Life really does take the mickey out of us. Life is stupid and nonsensical.
So you have to see the humour in it. You have to make light of things or where are you?
I saw a film the other week called 'The Living Wake' and it's a perfect example of this.
