The nice thing about comms like buffyversetop5 is that they inspire me to organize rec lists and celebrate my favourite writers and artists in the fandom.

Here's the posts I did for buffyversetop5:

I haven't seen 3 & 4 yet, but I agree that the others were fantastic.

I highly recommend both the movies! I'm pleased that there were some good movies this year. :D

My husband and I are both really excited to see The Wrestler and so I am glad to hear (from one person at least) that it lives up to expectations.

Hee, well fandom can sometimes help you get organized :> There's a communities meme going around on IJ that finally got me to make some posts I needed to make.

I've only seen the first, which was indeed wonderful (and it was my favorite song from Hello Dolly which is also one of my favorite musicals!) I've been looking forward to seeing 3 and 4 as well and am pretty sure I'll be seeing Iron Man at some point.

hee, fandom does help you organized!!

I do love Wall-E, such a fantastic movie. That's very cool that it's a favourite song from a favourite musical. I actually haven't seen Hello Dolly - I really must! Oh yes, both Milk and the Wrestler are definitely worth seeing. As is Iron Man! :D

Oh gosh, I had a long comment about the movies and lists in general, but LJ ate it when I tried to post. That's what I get for leaving entry-tabs open for days and days until I can get to them. *le sigh*

Anyway -- THANK YOU for naming Cuddly Predators as one of your favorite S/X fics of 2008! I'm honored that you included that story among others you enjoyed. :)

I'm behind on my movie-going, but thanks for reinforcing that I need to see three of these still, and soon (The Wrestler, Milk, and Slumdog Millionaire -- I am so. behind. omg.)
