The deconstruction of the Buffy-has-sex-with-Angel-and-he-loses-his-soul metaphor was pretty hilarious. I'm sure that Doctor James Dobson would, er, approve. Or possibly be appalled. (I wish he was a made-up character rather than someone actually interacting with the real world. *sigh*)

He gasps when Spike bites his neck. “Got your full attention now?” Spike breathes in his ear.

Mmm, pseudo-vampy action. Bring it on! *g*

hee - yes, I'm having such fun with the Willow/Tara vibes! I'm pleased you were entertained by the deconstruction of the Buffy/Angel having sex thing. Yeah, it would be much better if Doctor James Dobson wasn't a real person. Yay for noticing the pseudo-vampy action! Thanks for the awesome comments - I am working on the final chapters now which'll hopefully be done when you're back from your roadtrip! :D

Yeah, the steps are the kind of thing I *wish* was fiction. I actually did watch that video at a Christian camp I attended, and it still sticks with me so it was fun to get to play with it now. Thanks! :D

So with the traveling and then catching up at work, I've been lame and am just getting to comment replies now. Your comment thrills me so much!!! I love that you listed why you're enjoying the story!! All those points make me soooo happy - especially #2 because that's something that's important to me. I'm really having fun with all those things you noted so it's fabulous that you enjoy them!

I'm absolutely delighted that you're reading this and enjoying it despite the setting issue! And yay to no flashbacks.
