My heart is torn between the slash: wanting Logan with Weevil and canon; wanitng him with Veronica - both are so right.

I love the way you've written Veronica and how Xander is getting the hots for her - fabulous :-)

I get being torn - I'm a big fan of Logan/Veronica on the show. It's fun for me to write the Logan/Weevil (or the slow development toward L/W!) since we don't get that on the show. *g*

I'm pleased that you like how I've written Veronica, because it's ultimately her universe that they're in I want to do her justice. I love having the boys appreciating the hotness of a girl in slash fic. Thanks! *hugs*

Veronica just standing her ground while Spike's vamped really highlights why she's the go-to girl! No wonder she's used to just stepping in and taking charge of an operation, she's the most cucumbery in a sticky situation. This was a sharp, funny chapter, and Xander's lame "Let's strike these bad guys out" pun made me grin

I love Veronica's calmness and ability to quickly assess a situation and know how to act - so I can totally picture her seeming completely unruffled by Spike vamping. She is so the most cucumbery in a sticky situation! *g* I'm pleased you enjoyed the chapter, and that you liked Xander's lame pun (I have a weakness for that kind of humour). Thanks! *g*

I had so much fun with Spike and Xander's appreciation of Veronica. I think you may be right about Buffy seeming less self-assured than Veronica. I think Buffy, especially when she was younger, let her vulnerability show more whereas it's harder to see that Veronica's a marshmallow.
