right after the episode in which reba spanks barbara jean, i was saying to myself, "i love how this show embraces the gay, unknowingly or not." and the very next episode she said those two quotes. she said the first thing and it made me squee, and then she said even if they weren't in prison she'd still be her girlfriend.... it just kept getting better.
do you know if anyone writes barbara jean/reba fan fic? the only one i've found is on fanfiction.net, which isn't exactly the best source for quality fics...
anyway... it's so nice to see that there's someone else invested in this unconventional pairing lol

I sadly haven't found anyone who write the pairing. I think I also looked around for fic at one point and was disappointed by what I found for the Reba fandom, although I haven't looked in ages! hee, yeah, fanfiction.net isn't the most reliable for good fic! If you do find any, feel free to link me here.
