Sorry I didn't respond to this; I was working on a couple of RL deadlines and not checking my email very often, last week. But sure, if Elf says we'll like each other, I also trust her taste. So, friended you! I look forward to getting to know you better.

Mind if I friend you? I appreciated reading your comment on the thread in which the OP expressed her rights in perpetuity to other people's work.

I notice the OP has changed the wording of her post from:

To

There is a special place in Archivists' Hell reserved for those who do this,

so she'd sound cute instead of nutty.

Without even checking the OP's profile, I immediately envisioned a young unmarried college kid in an entry level job. In other words, someone with nothing to lose...yet. I checked her profile and discovered i was right.

I think in ten years the OP will be enjoying the special hell of high school and college kids who post thoughtlessly on Facebook and MySpace.

Just a note to say thank you for the fictionwise certificate. It's muchly appreciated, as are the well wishes. I've a wee bit more strength now, but it's slow going. My limbs are still rubbery, but at least my fever is down. Thank you again. :)
