How do you feel about a short T (i.e. subway) ride to downtown? There might be stuff available in Cambridge near a Red-line stop, such as this place. Plus staying near Harvard Square = lots of fun for easily soaking up the atmosphere.

They weren't kidding. I went on to expedia, exploring Cambridge and found something for just under 200. None of the places I have stayed at are available, or at truly insane prices.

It depends on what you like. Walking around Harvard is very pretty architecturally. I enjoy Harvard Square for shopping (looking) and the place which has a full sized bank safe in which you can eat ice cream. If you like kinetic sculpture then you have to go to the MIT museum of technology (even if you have to seek out of work) so you can see some of Arthur Ganson's work(sp?). There are several excellent food places, too. Much of Boston rolls up the sidewalks at night though.

And to further recommend Harvard Square, that's the location of Veggie Planet.

Would you like a signal boost? There are quite a few Bostonians on my friends list. I didn't want to post without asking because you have this one locked.

Sure -- I can even unlock this post. I *may* have found us a place to stay (just waiting for confirmation), but can definitely still use pointers for places to eat, things to see and do.

Thanks!
