He was taken away the day the fog finally lifted and the tombstones disappeared, before dawn.
[She's had a nearly a fortnight to process the loss, but it's still hard. She manages a smile, though.]
I am glad for the six months I had him here with me. It is six months more than I would have had otherwise. And - and he may still come back one day.
