--a few minutes ago, a post was made on the Network by  a new arrival. I'll spare you the trouble of speaking to him: his name is Naraku, and he is from my world.

He's surrounded by toxic, demonic miasma that will kill you if you're exposed to it for too long. He can shift his body into any shape he could ever need. He has the ability to summon remarkably strong barriers and poisonous insects to do his bidding, can use golem-puppets to fight people, and pretty much clone himself into sentient reincarnations. Even if it weren't for us being here, he can't be killed by normal means; even if chopped to pieces, he will reform.

--I have a bad feeling about him and your brother. Could you make sure he doesn't do anything stupid?

If you don't mind me asking, just what where his motives in your world? ( All of it reminds him vaguely of what events had begun to spin into motion back home involving the Impure King. There is a pause on his end as Rin is brought up, before sighing -- already knowing where this could lead. )

...we weren't exactly sure [There is Onigumo and his wishes to think about, after all] but I'm fairly sure it was immortality.

The tools he needs to get that aren't here, though, so I'm not sure what he'll do--and that's what worries me.

What sorts of things is he capable of?

He has a demonic aura so potent that it's miasma that will literally poison you if you don't have some kind of protection. He can shift his body to do whatever he needs it to do, grow, shrink, anything you can imagine. He can create extremely strong barriers, spy with poisonous insects called Saimyosho, and send potent puppets of himself out to do his dirty work. He can also create incarnations of himself that are, while sentient beings, forced to do his bidding.

--and it's not as if he could be killed in the first place, because we're here, but you can hack him into a million pieces and he'll just reform. He has two known weaknesses; one is the only way to kill him and it isn't here, and the other... might be here, with him, but isn't accessible.

--I don't know. He can't kill people here, and he can't reach his goals while here, so I have no idea what he's going to do. That's what's worrying.

At home, we were fairly sure it was immortality--power. To become a full demon. [Or Kikyou--but would he really allow Onigumo to overtake him like that?]

He doesn't have the tools he needs to accomplish that, here.
