[The voice over the line is kind, if...more than a little alarmed and confused.]

...Um...hey.

Has...anyone else noticed that...it feels like we're upside down?

Maybe we should...be trying to figure this out? I mean, I don't see anything out there, but...what if...what if this place just starts...falling?

Don't panic? We're currently in a void, so even if we fell anywhere, we wouldn't really collide with anything.

I...I guess you're right about that. I just don't know what to think about all of this.

Is...is the boss really still missing?

Yes. I can't find him anywhere, and I'm getting really worried.

Have you seen anything at all?

Um...no, not...really. I've been staying away from the mirrors, like everyone's been saying to do....

He can't have...left, right? I mean, we're...in the middle of nowhere, where could he go?

[ This voice is harsh and sounds rather stressed. ]

Of course somebody's noticed. We're not all idiots. And my brother was puking his brains out because of it, last I checked. What could we do if the place did start falling? You shouldn't say s*** like that to everyone. You're going to start a riot.

[A beat...and then the voice is very small and choked up. Congratulations, Wes. You've made her cry.]

...I'm sorry, I...I just thought...no one was...saying anything, and....

I'm sorry I'll shut up I won't say anything else....

[ The other voice sighs sharply. ] Look. I know how you're feeling, no one has any idea what's going on, but you know what? You need to toughen up, because when I accidentally showed a bit of weakness, I got torn apart. So stop it before someone calls you a baby and threatens to kill you if you meet in person.

[A beat. Some soft sniffling and stifled sobs.]
