I would like to claim the following post:

3. In his early days as a hunter, before he met Bobby and Jim, John often left his boys with Deacon when he was away on hunts. Some of these visits went better than others.

You got it! There are a couple communities for finding betas, spn_beta and spn_betas, that you might find useful.
