Probably no need to be jealous, because I didn't really enjoy it. But I didn't expect much anyway - so far none of the films has lived up to my expectations.
But if you are looking forward to it, by all means have fun xD
Alright, I know that I'm super late with commenting, but I still wanted to do it anyway. I hope you don't mind. =)
So, I love the fact that you went to the midnight screening. Sadly I couldn't go (exams and school didn't allow so); instead I went to the one a bit earlier, which started at 8.30pm. Therefore the atmosphere wasn't that great. Especially since I watched the film with guys, who haven't read the books and so it was slightly... well awkward and irritating. (They laughed at Dobby's death. I almost freaked out... but whatever.)
I hope your evening last week was more pleasant. Would love to hear your thoughts about the movie. I've already read in the your comments above that it seems you didn't enjoy it that much. How come?
Of course I don't mind ♥ I'm sorry that you couldn't enjoy it that much. I like going to the cinema with friends and like-minded people, so the atmosphere was actually better than the film for me.
I have a friend that laughed at Dobby's death too, which I thought was inappropiate. But the scene did not move me to tears as it did in the book, which was a little disappointing. I didn't like the sentimentality of it, if you know what I mean. They made it too Hollywood - too much focus on Harry/Hermione/Ron than on the actual Deathly Hallows and Dumbledore/Grindelwald. And the soundtrack was sucky -__- And also, by the time Voldy has the Elder Wand, the three of them had already raided Gringotts! In the book there was an amazing build-up of tension up to the moment when Voldy gets the wand, yet in the film there was none. Sigh.
