Nazi Germany, Mussolini, "the sun never sets on English land"... we all have our screwups :( agent orange was a particularly embarrassing one for us, in my opinion.

this country was founded on such noble and beautiful concepts. i want us to remember them every single day and uphold them as best we can. things like agent orange don't do that, but maybe everyone has to screw up a few times (not that that makes it admissible)... the important thing is learning. so that it never happens again.

unfortuantely, that learning never really seems to happen either.

Yea, it really was.
And you're right in that.
All in the same, I'm still proud of where I'm from, it's just that moment really kind of opened my eyes (in a different way, I already knew it was horrible).
