Marybeth the paperdoll

May 14, 2015 17:23

As mentioned in the previous post, I recently found an old dear of mine, Marybeth

This was a project I had thought about for years, started couple years ago, then just left it be after few outfits and before publishing any of it. Well, here it is finally, and aged surprisingly well, so I shall just jump in where I left off I hope.
Inspiration, yaaay

I can't believe I ever did such intricate details on the corset, which, if you put on the whole outfit, is wholly covered and out of sight anyway (though it does serve a purpose of keeping the dress firmly in place as well). This gives such ideas!

That wig's a bit wacky though. Need to refigure that one

Now, off to the drawing board, then

Attention FrillFest attendees
I'm looking for a vendor going to FrillFest in Gothenburg, Sweden, this August, who'd be willing to take some Marukuki items as a part of their selection
Postcards, notebooks, paperdolls, that sort of small stuff. I'm unlikely to be able to attend myself
but would love for my art still to be present in some form

Please, spread the word, if you know anyone going
Much appreciated.
