Dreamy weekend

Wow

The snowfall was pretty and plentyful this past weekend
Really set the mood for just staying indoors, crafting and decorating away. The creativeness and inspiration got so high, that even the watercolors were dug out from their grave and some painting ensued. It's remarkable, because it's been years since the last time

It was amazingly serene sitting by the kitchen table watching the snow fall, listening classical music on radio and scribbling Xmas greetings for far away places. Which, by the way, are now done and will be send this evening as I get off from work to the snowbound weather and even-more-late-than-usual trains and to what I fear will be dreadfully crowded post office. Trying hard, reality, but I'm not down from my Christmas spirited weekend high... yet

Also, like last Christmas, there was a lovely Xmassy flower left hanging on my front door again as I came back from work last Friday

It's actually for granny, from her church, but they don't seem to know she doesn't live in the apartment anymore (how could they; the name on the door's still the same and there's a wreath hanging there, so it's not like the apartment's empty).

A christmas tree was set up by the kitchen window, with old pink German glass baubles, granny's old red plastic apples and last year's Lisbeth Dahl golden birds

stuff, pretty home, xmas
