*The best part about having helped A find a room is knowing where to find him, and being able to go up to his door and knock. Like Near is now.
Not that he's admitting he missed him or anything, but it feels like they haven't talked in a long time.*
plotty plot plot plot,
a plus,
jerky mello,
fallout,
teenaged angst,
o.o

He's completely lost track of when it's supposed to be 'morning' or 'evening' anyway. As a matter of fact, he's just getting ready to go down to the kitchen for... breakfast (could it be called that when he wasn't even sure the time of day?) when he hears the knock on his door.
For a moment, something surfaces, and he remembers another knock, but then it's gone and he's opening the door anyway, a small smile on his face when he notices Near.
Oh--um... hey.

Hello. Can I come in?

He holds the door open for him, stepping aside to allow him in. And maybe a flicker of worry crosses his face, because he certainly wasn't expecting a visit and he'd figured that Near would only go out of his way to visit him if something was wrong.
Is... is everything alright?
