Successfully made Sambhar yesterday.
So yesterday, I finally successfully made sambhar!
The recipe is adapted from the book Dakshin - Vegetarian cuisine from South IndiaIngredient names are listed in English, roughly transcribed Hindi, and roughly transcribed Tamil, since many of these ingredients aren't readily findable using their names in English. More observations, on a Kuwait->Mumbai flight.
I travelled on Kuwait Airways non-stop from Kuwait to Mumbai. After heading past security and emigration, and the duty free shops, I got to my gate.
