Just when I thought the post had ended there was MOAR! It's cool that you guys get to do work placement, my course allows for work placement too I just don't know when lol.

Things have been happening with Woolworths, fuel prices are going up which is driving up the price of food and to ice the cake their share prices are falling... but I'm sure you really didn't care for the specifics.

We do the GED OOUUD thing too and the what are you sinking about.. I even have the clip on my computer lol. It must be a tertiary student thing xD

Well I did have a month full of stuff to cover (and this is also with me cutting down a lot too heh heh) and if I find a lovely mad scientist around (because I know so many :P) for your work placement, I'll be sure let you know xD

There's just this little part of me that wants Woolies to die in a fire at some point, but at least have the decency to do so AFTER I finish my degree. Seriously xD There's also no point with me getting another job either, since I hope doubt that I'll have it for half a year. Stupid Woolies -__-.

And yeah, it must be a tertiary student thing. Oh man, I love that ad! wahahaha!!

Yeah getting a new job at this point would be a little bit silly. But hey who knows one day you might become famous accidentally and have to play the role of checkout chick... you'd have loads of experience lol (rofl@ my insane scenarios)

You sound so busy!! :D I barely get two things done a day, it's so hot, (Around 44 celcius yesterday) so I live in front of the fan and try not to let my brain shut down. Wheee!!!
And the company I work for, (Vons), is going through a Woolies-eque hours-shrinking too. I had some friends laid off, and I got demoted down a step on the pay ladder, the same week I got my raise :0 Mucho lame.
All the design things you do sound interesting.. What are you working towards?

The silly thing about Woolies is that I really don't want to get another job. Maybe I'm just lazy but it's like Woolies is the girl beating boyfriend that I just keep going back to xD (ok terrible analogy there sorry :P). I hope things for you an Vons get better too :D

I haven't done a lot of what I should be doing in regards to design (I've been bogged down ny work and my wont for a break xD), but for my major work, I plan to create another branch of National Geographic magazine that is geared more towards young people. It's a hefty project, but if I organise my time a bit more I think I can pull it off. We'll see though. Just wait for the angsty"omg-I-fail-at-life-major-work-is-bad" post later on in the year xD It's only a matter of time now...
