When the heart did it get to be October 2009? We moved into the new place last month, and I'm really happy. :) Miami is friendly, fun, and delicious so far. Next week M has a few days off, so hopefully we'll do something extra fun. He's up getting the last of our storage closet contents and visiting friends, and today I'll spend job-hunting, ( Read more... )

So you are confused about a lot of things huh? Me too, what I am doing now is going to this information thing at a church at college monday nights, basically it's an information session in which you ask questions and listen to others, according to this thing I read about online it's purpose is not to force anyone into believing anything, rather to just lay it all on the table and allow you to find your own truth in the matter. It's a catholic church and they are surprisingly cool with their uptake in life. The website also specifically mentions that one should be 100% satisfied with their answers and what they hear before they proceed any further in the faith. I talked to the father there and he was a really cool person, I don't know if any of this helps but...

One thing I didn't know, Catholics don't consider alcohol a sin but baptists do, I found interesting.

Thanks, man. I appreciate that, and I suppose if I were to ask anyone about God, it would be someone who's studied Him for a long time. I'm glad you're going somewhere to ask all those questions. Feel free to bring it up anytime with me. :) I knew Catholics had no prob with alcohol (they have real wine for communion), but I was never sure whether that was true about the Baptists (I grew up going to a Baptist church and we had grape juice instead). Jesus used wine, so I don't think either way it matters, and I always figured something's a sin when it's taking away from your focus on God/carrying out your purposes in life. Thanks for the help. :)
