Wow, doing a general set for anime20in20 has been a blast this time around! Sometimes I get stuck on what to icon, but this time I just had fun and I'm really pleased with the variety of different anime and manga styles that are displayed :3

Round 41 at anime20in20 was extra fun for me because I got to make icons for the most beautiful movie that isn't from Studio Ghibli... Hotarubi no Mori e. I think anybody who's unfamiliar with this should go find it now and watch it. I'll be here for you when you're done ( Read more... )

Yay, I finished! I was a so worried that I wasn't going to have time since this set needed a little extra startup time. I actually had to screencap Hotarubi no Mori e for some of the icons, so I rewatched and capped a bunch of stuff while I was at it. I always enjoy participating at anime20in20, and this round was no different! For those of you who haven't tried a 20in20, it's a great challenge, and the themes are always super fun~ I highly reccomend it!

So here are some icons at last! I wedged a 20in20 into my busy life so that I could at least get some icon making time in this month. I chose Starry Sky because I like the large cast, and artbook images! For those unfamiliar with it, the male characters are all based after the 12 astrological symbols. I had a lot of fun with this set. CLAMP artwork is always beautiful and fun to work with, and I have to say that although I rushed through this set, I really liked how several of the icons turned out. I guess a few others felt that way too, since I somehow managed to win a few of the categories XD
