Piper knew what day it was. She wondered if that had anything to do with the news she learned today. She was going to be a grandmother again, before she had any kids of her own. This time, it was Chris and Summer's news. One of those kids who showed up every once in awhile was finally going to exist in this time

"I'm not old enough to be a grandpa," Lindsey said. "And you sure as hell aren't old enough to be a grandma. We don't even have kids yet!"

There had been a time in Lindsey's life when he'd thought that getting off Fandom meant his life would get less weird. Oh how wrong he'd been.

"I've dealt with so many weird things because of Fandom, but I am still not prepared for this," Piper sighed.

That was an exaggeration. She'd be fine. Really.

Lindsey, who had in no way neglected this post for a week, laughed.

"You're the prettiest grandma I've ever seen," he assured her. "If that helps. Still true even if it doesn't help."

Piper smiled at him appreciatively. "That does help. It was the exact right thing to say at this moment."

It helped remind her that there was some other version of her who was the older one.
