When Piper returned home from classes, she was greeted by Veronica and a cake. Of all the ways to be greeted after a long day of classes, a cake was one of the best.

It was her birthday today and she was no longer a teenager. It wasn't as weird as she thought it would be.

"So, how does it feel to not be a teenager anymore?" Veronica asked, carrying two cups of coffee in to go with the cake.

"Not all that different, actually," Piper replied, taking a cup from Veronica.

"Yeah, I don't know why people make it such a big deal," Veronica admitted. "It's not like you suddenly get treated differently."

"Yeah, really. I still had to take that test in my accounting class," Piper sighed.

Lindsey was not quite the bad boyfriend Veronica would like to claim he was. Not quite.

Which was why Piper's phone was ringing Friday evening.

Piper smiled when she glanced at the caller ID. "Hi Lindsey."

"Hey birthday girl. You out having crazy birthday fun yet?"

"Oh yes. I'm currently very drunk right now," Piper snickered. In actuality, her birthday was kind of boring.

Wyatt totally would not forget his not-mom's birthday. Which is why he was calling now.

"Hey Wyatt," Piper greeted when she answered the phone.

"Happy birthday!" Wyatt said.

"Thank you," Piper said, smiling. "How are you doing?"

Chris called Piper totally on Friday, hush to wish her a happy birthday.

"Hey Chris," Piper greeted. She wasn't surprised he had called, too.

"Happy Birthday," Chris said.

"Thanks Chris," Piper said. He couldn't see it, but she was smiling.
