Piper decided to stay in her room and read today. It was a very good day to be lazy.

And she didn't even feel bad about it.

After her rather rude awakening, Veronica hadn't gotten much sleep. Every time she did manage to doze, she woke up smelling smoke and feeling like she was trapped and couldn't breathe. Aaron hadn't appeared to her again, but her nightmares were back in full force.

She ended up taking a long shower and drinking the better part of a pot of coffee before deciding to knock on Piper's door to see if there was anything in the Book of Shadows that could help.

Her eyes were bloodshot and there were circles under them and she could probably give Blair a run for the money in a bouncing contest because she was so jittery from all the caffeine.

"Hey Veronica," Piper greeted when she opened the door. Then she noticed her eyes. "Didn't sleep well?"

Veronica shook her head and her eyes started to fill with tears.

"I need your help," she said.

"What happened?" Piper asked, her voice filled with concern. She stepped aside to let Veronica in.
