Piper should have really thought about the consequences of the truth spell before casting it. Sure, she was worried about Phoebe, but that wasn't a valid excuse to use a spell for personal gain. She had no idea it would effect anyone in the dorms at the time it was cast.

After her run-in with Bel, Veronica immediately made her way to Piper's room, where she started knocking insistently.

"I need to talk to you, so don't think you can hide," she called.
