East Attic, Monday After Classes

Feb 27, 2006 21:02

Piper waits in the attic for Parker to arrive. She had gotten a handwave phone call from her and it sounded like she had a lot of questions. It was only fair that Piper fill her in on all the weirdness from last night.

Parker had trekked up to the attic in the hopes of following up on the voicemail Piper had left for her the day before-- not to mention the radio broadcast. It sounded like their problems with Bel were over for now, but she wanted to be sure.

She knocked on the door, looking around. "Piper? Are you home?"

"Yeah," Piper called. "It's open!"

"Smart way to guard from vampires," Parker commented as she came in. "Right. What's going on with the Dragon Blade? I heard on the radio that you 'blew a knife up', and I was hoping it meant it was destroyed, but...."

"The Dragon Blade has gone poof. I did, indeed, destroy it last night," Piper explained. "Bel actually handed it over voluntarily."

"Thanks, Piper." Parker shook her head. "Right. How's everyone else taking this? Angel's okay with it; how about Veronica?"

"Veronica? I think it's gonna be hard for her," Piper said. "I know it's gonna take some time for a lot of people."

[Sorry it took me so long to get back to this. Today was kind of crazy.]

"Yeah. Although I assume most people won't have the flaming-balls-of-death issues that she does." Parker sighed. "Okay. Thanks for bringing me up to speed, and dealing with the magical paper knife from hell. I'm *still* going to look for precautions. Just in case."

She headed for the door. "Call me if anything new comes up."

"I don't blame you for wanting to look for precautions. We all should," Piper added. "I will definitely let you know if anything new comes up. See you later, Parker."
