Holding the wrapped dagger tightly against her, and holding Cole's hand, Phoebe walked to the East Attic. She took a deep breath and letting go of Cole's hand, she knocked on the door.
Phoebe opened the door and pulled Cole in with her. Holding tightly to his hand, she held out the wrapped bundle to Piper. "I want to see this thing blown up, sis." She looked Piper in the eye. "He gave it to me and Angel."
"I believe you mean it now," Logan said. "Today. Maybe tomorrow. But in a week? Two weeks? Next time you lose your temper or Veronica finds out something you don't think she should know?" He gave Bel a hard look. "I don't care how sincere you think you are. I don't trust you."
"I don't expect you to," Bel said. "I've done a lot of unspeakable things and nothing will ever make up for them. But I'm not going to try to bring Angelus back any more, and I'm not going to hurt anyone for what they did to him. Bringing him back would mean Phoebe gets killed, and I'm not about to pay that price."
"I'm not willing to pay with Piper's life, either," Bel said, glaring at Logan. "Or Paige's. Or Kiki's. Or Veronica's." He chuckled. "Hell, even yours. You'd probably be on top of his list. Now I have the funny feeling I am."
