I'd pull out my large food processor mostly for making this particular pie crust recipe I have, since it worked better that way. The blade works fine. It's a pain to pull it out and to clean it, though, so I mostly just use the small food processor (the £10 one) and do things in batches, if at all possible. Oh, or I'd use it when I needed the feed tube (which that pie crust dough does need, and a few other things).
