Last night we made lamb chops in the oven. Simple salt, pepper and fresh rosemary. Spicy chickpeas and pearl couscous with sautéed shallot, mushrooms and toasted pine nuts. And my very first homemade baba ghanoush!
Fresh Florida shrimp and asparagus were on sale so I pulled some smoked chicken out of the freezer and we're having spicy Basque smoked chicken paella and steamed asparagus for dinner.
