I recently made a big pitcher of Mimosas (my favorite cocktail!) for a brunch get-together and they were so delicious. I've tried several recipes to find my favorite and this one definitely wins. Grab your favorite glass and enjoy

Love mimosas, as well as a nice sparkling kir. I'll have to check out a sweeter orange juice than I've used in the past as my version is drier. I use a Spanish Friexenet rather than an Italian Prosecco for my liquor and have never tried adding an orange liquer. I've got most of a bottle of Cointreau to experiment with. :)
I used Simply Orange once (a brand here that is not sweetened) and I wanted more sweetness, so I was all prepared to add a simple syrup when I thought... UH. SWEETENED ORANGE JUICE. LOL. If you like drier drinks, you can go with fresh or unsweetened. I like my cocktails a little sweet :)
I do as well, on the whole though I'm more likely to buy and drink beer than wines and rarely make cocktails as I find they need so many additional ingredients that I don't have. And, I don't entertain so my alcohol purchases are usually cooking related. I also enjoy a couple of the hard ciders I've tried like Magner's Hard Irish Cider.
It seems I've posted a surprising of drinks recipe, now that I've checked over my 'drinks' tag.

Just wanted to say I had an amazing beer cocktail in Taiwan. It had Heineken (of all things), green tea, ume and a tiny bit of syrup. It was very refreshing, especially in Taiwan's tropical, humid nights.
