Pomegranate seeds..

Dec 26, 2013 20:29

So I made this recipe for Christmas dinner (which BTW is highly recommended):
kale pomegranate and caramelized parsnip salad/ and now have a bunch (about a cup or so) of seeds hanging out just waiting to be made into something.

Any thoughts? On the simple side and vegetarian.

fruit: pomegranate, help: what to make

Grenadine! It's so much more delicious than the fake stuff.

(nb I didn't use this precise recipe, since I haven't made it in ages)

They're nice over salads. Or you can just eat them.

Seconding eating 'em. They're a nice pairing with a cheese tray.

Oh, but they also make a nice cocktail garnish, and look really cool in a glass of champagne!

LOL. The seeds were served up with my cheese platter and in the salad. May keep them for the champagne toast next week.

We've been making this for breakfast with leftover pomegranate seeds - http://www.bonappetit.com/recipe/muesli-with-pomegranate-and-almonds. Yum!
