It's similar to Biscoff or Speculoos spread--cookie butter is a Trader Joe's exclusive brand but can be shipped (albeit for a hefty price), via sites like Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Trader-Joes-Speculoos-Cookie-Butter/dp/B006KK4GUO. If you really can't find cookie butter and don't want to pay the exorbitant online price, you *can* sub peanut butter, but the taste will change. Hope this helps!
