What a great cold or room temperature noodle dish. I usually do a sesame seed paste (tahini) dressing garnished with whole sesame seeds but this sounds very tasty.

PS: Would you be able to add rough amounts/proportions to your recipe, especially for the dressing? Some of us aren't as comfortable with winging it. :)

I usually don't measure anything when fixing this salad. But this is approximately what I used.

90g soba (the soba came in 180g portions and I used half of one)
1 carrot
10 grapes (I happened to have green ones)
10 cherry tomatoes
1 red chili
1 stalk green onion
100g roast chicken
2 teaspoons poppy seeds
handful of mint and basil
Dressing:
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon mustard
1 teaspoon honey
juice of 1 small lime (calamansi)
black pepper to taste

I could have added sesame seeds but I had only poppy seeds so I used those instead.
I sometimes use udon instead of soba. That's yummy too!

Thank you for the additional info. I'd like to try it and want to at least start with some guidelines. :)
