Lost Recipe :*(

I've been collecting the Better Homes and Gardens Christmas Cookie magazine since the early 1980's. Got my favorite cookie recipe from it.  Sadly, due to a computer crash, I lost the recipe and haven't been able to locate it again.  It was a shortbread type crust that was wrapped around a 1/2 tsp or so of honey macerated dried fruit and nuts.  Then

Here's a shortbread recipe with most of the ingredients, but it may not be what you are looking for...

That looks wonderful and I am going to have to try these but the one I am looking for is like a pillow cookie, the fruit honey mixture is not stirred into the cookie rather it fills the center ( kinda like a truffle center if that makes sense. )

Thanks. :) Three different communities and not even a glimmer of recognition. I think I am going to have to develop as close an approximation as I can. I'll post it here when I come up with something close.

Do you happen to know what year of the magazine that cookie was in?

Sadly no I don't. :( sometime in the 80's I think. I know it's a long shot asking but figured it couldn't hurt and maybe someone would recognize it and happen to still have the recipe lying around.
