Granny's soup!

I start to dream about this soup when chestnut trees turn yellow in Kyiv!! What can be better?  It’s nourishing and flavored...  and even a bit enchanting… I remember from the childhood: only eat the Granny’s soup and you’re free to walk in cold windy weather, the homework is done faster, and everything is warm and peaceful for you… J

This sounds really good! I haven't ever experimented with making noodles/dumplings for soup, but this looks pretty easy. :-)

May I ask what country is this noodles soup comes from? There are sooooooooo many cuisine to esperience from and I'd like to know it originate ^.~

I'm sure the soup is very tasty but the noodles were what attracted me as I've been wanting to make my own pasta ... at least once. :)

Using these noodles as a base for Hungarian beef goulash instead of taking the risk of making dumplings and having them undercook etc. would be a great solution. Plus they sound like something I could manage though I'll have to look for a recipe with a few more details as to texture, kneading etc.
