Summer steak salad on the grill

It's ridiculously hot in Chicago right now, so to prepare before the heatwave hit, I made one of my all-time favorite summer salads. It's perfect right off the grill the day it's made, but is just as good served cold the next night when it's 100 degrees outside.

A gorgeously grilled steak. I don't think I've ever bought a flat iron steak. I'll have to ask my butcher's about it at the city market. And the salad is ok so yummy looking as well (minus the tomatoes).

Thanks! This is the first time I've used this cut, and it was so easy. And of course you can add or leave off anything you like in the salad :-)
