Banoffee Cupcakes

Here in England it was the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebration last weekend, and as my husband and I were invited to a Jubilee party, I figured I'd better jump on the bandwagon and bake something British! OMG - I WANT that cupcake set!!!

Also, while my knowledge of UK English is pretty extensive, I just want to double check that castor sugar is what we would call granulated sugar here in the US (at least it looks like granulated sugar in the photo).

The set is so adorable, isn't it?! I was in love with it the second I saw it!

As for caster sugar, I believe it's called 'superfine' sugar in the US. Hope that helps! :)
